How I work

Systems over one-off fixes.

I'd rather build the reusable component than patch the one-off bug — it pays back on the next page, and the one after that.

Real constraints beat assumptions.

Decisions get made from what the project actually needs — the users, the data, the deadline — not from habit or what's trendy.

Maintainable beats merely working.

Shipping is a milestone, not the finish line. Code should be easy for someone else — or future me — to pick up cold.
